WhatsForLunch Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 11, 2026
WhatsForLunch is designed to keep meal planning simple. Most app data is stored locally on your device. This policy explains what information is used, when it is shared, and how to contact dragvolt.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your meal plans, grocery list items, seeded dishes, and app preferences locally on your device so the app can work properly.
Information sent over the internet
If you use the optional AI recipe lookup feature, the search term you enter for a dish may be sent to the app's secure server so it can request a recipe response. That request may be processed by third-party infrastructure providers used by the app, including hosting and AI providers.
What the app does not do
WhatsForLunch does not require an account, does not offer social posting, and is not designed to sell your personal information.
Third-party services
The app may rely on third-party services for infrastructure and AI-assisted recipe lookup, including Vercel for hosting and Google Gemini for recipe generation requests made through the app's server. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete locally stored app data from within the app using the data reset and clear options. You can also avoid using the AI lookup feature if you do not want dish searches sent through the server.
